Why We Built This
Playgrounds Guide started as a simple problem: finding a good indoor playground in a new city is harder than it should be. Most options are buried in outdated listicles, generic Google results, or Facebook groups where the same three venues get recommended regardless of fit. We wanted something better — a resource that told parents not just where playgrounds are, but whether they're actually worth the trip for their specific kid and situation.
What We Cover
We rate indoor playgrounds across multiple cities on six categories that actually matter to parents: toddler safety, parent sightlines, noise and sensory environment, cleanliness, parent comfort, and birthday party hosting. Every rating is based on patterns across real Google reviews — not a single visit, not sponsored content, not venue submissions.
How We Stay Accurate
Indoor playgrounds change — hours shift, venues close, ownership changes hands. We periodically rescore cities as new reviews come in and update venue information when parents flag something through our correction form. If you spot something wrong, we want to know. Submit a correction →
